FAQ

DO I NEED TO BOOK?

You don't need to book! The trail will be set up over a three week period (Dec 12th- Jan 2nd) and you are welcome to come and complete it whenever it's convenient for you.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

The trail starts at the QR code outside LivingStones in Fleet. To scan the QR code you need to open up your phone camera and find the QR scanner setting. (you can also install free QR scanner apps) The QR code will take you to the introductory video which will kick off your journey.

WHAT WILL I NEED?

  • A phone with a working QR scanner and mobile data

  • The worksheet, step by step guide and map, all found in the resources section of this website for you to print out before you set off.

  • A pen to write down any clues that you find

  • A clipboard- if you don't have one, don't worry! A family member's back will do the job.

If you don't have access to a printer we recommend bringing a notebook as well as having the map and step by step guide available to look at on your phone.

HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE?

There are 8 QR codes spread around the town to find, as well as the introduction and final QR code. Each QR code takes you to a short video. With this in mind we estimate that the trail should take no more than an hour and a half, depending on walking speed.

HOW DO I COLLECT MY CHOCOLATE PRIZE?

After watching the final video and completing the trail, look in the video description. Here you will find a link to a virtual certificate of achievement. Show this at LivingStones in the high street anytime before January 9th to redeem your chocolate prize. You are also welcome to print off the certificate when you get home.

IS IT COVID FRIENDLY?

We have chosen and designed this trail in a way which requires no contact with other families or shared resources/surfaces.

  • We ask that you maintain the appropriate distance from other families doing the trail, as per the social distancing guidelines.

  • We ask that you please avoid touching any of the QR code posters
